1. Where do I find local racecards?
On the main page, open the "Horseracing" folder in the left column by clicking on it. Select the "Racecards" option. A summary of the available race meetings is on the left, and the available racecards for each meeting are on the right.
  2. Where do I find international racecards?
International racecards are in the same area as the local racecards. See Question 1 above.
  3. How do I use the zipped racecards file?
Click on the "All Races (Zipped)" link. A dialogue box should pop up asking you whether you would like to save the file. Click on the "Save" button, and then select a destination directory. Windows users should be able to decompress the zipped file using WinZip or a similar utility. Linux users can use the "uncompress all.tar.Z" command followed by "tar xvf all.tar".
  4. What do all those fields in the racecard mean?
  5. When are the racecards updated?
The racecards are updated every day. Only those meetings for which the fields have been finalised will have racecards. Fields are usually finalised 3-6 days ahead of the meeting. For details on other meetings, go to the Nominations area.
  6. When are the nominations updated?
The nominations are updated every day. Detailed nominations for feature races are provided in the "Feature Race Fields" area in the "Horseracing" folder. Nominations are provided for meetings in South Africa only.
